Mike Casault joined S.H.E. Consulting in December 2024 and serves as a Health, Safety and Security Professional. With more than 40 years of experience in health, safety, security, and emergency response, Mike is passionate about supporting incident investigations, identifying root causes, and developing practical corrective actions that help prevent recurrence. Working with clients across remote and industrial environments, he assists with compliance auditing, contractor oversight, and promoting safe work practices that strengthen organizational safety culture.

Before joining S.H.E. Consulting, Mike built an extensive career in public safety, law enforcement, and mining. He served as a Staff Sergeant with the RCMP for 26 years across five provinces, holding roles in frontline policing, supervision, command, labour relations, and major case management. His diverse background also includes service with the McLennan and Fernie Fire Departments, work as an EMT-I with Smoky River Ambulance and the Edmonton Ambulance Authority, and 11 years in the coal mining industry focused on safety, risk, security, health, hygiene, and environmental performance.

Bilingual in English and French, Mike brings a wealth of experience in investigations, contractor management, auditing, risk management, conflict resolution, and leadership. His practical, people-focused approach helps clients build safer workplaces while maintaining operational excellence.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys following the Fernie Ghost riders and the Montreal Canadiens and spending time trap shooting.
